Just Welcomed Twins This Year… And They Want MORE?! Jed & Katey Duggar’s Baby Plans Shock Fans

KATEY & JED
Duggar News followers know that having children isn’t just a tradition, it’s practically a belief. Rooted in their toxic IBLP upbringing, women have constantly been taught to be homemakers and bear as many children as possible. For example, Jessa Duggar is already a mom of five and is expecting her sixth. Jinger Duggar recently welcomed her third child. Even Anna Duggar, wife of disgraced Josh Duggar, is raising seven children on her own.
Jed and Katey Duggar seemed to be following the same path. They married young and quickly had four children. Fans couldn’t help but wonder whether they were going to expand the family even further? In a recent podcast, the couple finally addressed the question. So, what did the husband and wife duo have to say about this?
Duggar News: How Many Kids Do Jed & Katey Duggar Have Right Now?
It was Jed and Katey’s firstborn son, Truett Oliver, who was born in May 2022. The little angel was the one to spark the transition into the Duggar News couple’s active parenthood. Then came their daughter Nora Kate in May 2023. She arrived over a year later and added to their growing brood. The couple has earlier said that adjusting to two young children taught them the actual meaning of the term “all hands on deck.”
As the new year commenced in January 2025, Jed and Katey welcomed twin daughters Elsie Kate and Emma Kate. This marked a major milestone as Jed’s first experience of parenting twins. The new parents have shared that everything feels double the effort, from feedings to sleepless nights. On Jinger and Jeremy’s podcast, Jed and Katey framed this phase as “insane” but called it “a season full of blessings and chaos.”
Duggar News: Jed & Katey Just Welcomed Twins! Want More Babies?
The Duggar News couple Jed and Katey Duggar said I do in April 2021. Four years later, they have son Truett, daughter Nora, and infant twins girls Elsie and Emma. In a recent podcast appearance, they described the pace of adding four little ones in just a few years as “crazy” and also emotionally taxing. During the chat, Katey said the couple has been “praying about” whether to have more children or not.
Jed added that slowing down was a conscious choice. They are doing so to enjoy what they’ve been blessed with instead of racing to add more. The duo clarified that this isn’t a sign of stopping permanently, but a “sabbatical” to catch their breath and connect with their current children. Hence, Jed and Katey remain open to expanding their family later, but for now, they want to savor the journey.
