Paul’s social media has a concerning set of updates last month in March 2025. Allegedly, the 90 Day Fiance star’s friend, who happened to be a “medical professional,” took over his Instagram. They informed his followers that Paul was in the hospital. It was after he overdosed on some anxiety pills. As per the post, he had been going through depression and took the pills after being intoxicated on wine. The friend went to check in on Paul and found him in an unconscious state.

It turns out the friend went to Paul’s apartment after they got some disturbing texts from him. After finding him in such a state, they had to hospitalise him. Fans find it hard to believe something like this happened. After all, Paul has had a history of lying to his audience in the past. Be it about his ex-wife’s relationships or going missing in the Amazon. Despite that, his supporters wished for his recovery as he was seeking treatment for his condition.

Many 90 Day Fiance fans find Paul’s behaviour to be rather problematic. After all, he’s had several court cases against his name since losing custody of his kids. He also had an arson charge when he made his debut on the show. But it looks like Paul may have finally changed his ways and is now focusing on betterment. It turns out he recently celebrated his birthday. While sharing a post regarding the same, he also confirmed being in a new relationship.

It turns out Paul was really lonely on his special. When he came back home from gym, his mystery girlfriend decided to surprise him. She did so with homemade food and decorations. He called the woman “someone extremely close and dear to his heart.” Paul was all praises as he said this person was the only one who “did something for him” despite her busy schedule and being in law school, dealing with exam week.

Well, Paul couldn’t help but throw shade at his ex wife Karine. He said it felt good to be in a “healthy, non-toxic” relationship with someone. Yet he said he was still adjusting to a healthy space as it was very different from his previous relationship. The star concluded by saying he was appreciative of his special someone’s patience and understanding as he was still “mentally healing.”

Paul also said that he wants to protect his partner’s privacy, so both of them are going to refrain from sharing pictures online or tagging eachother on social media.
